The key wine trade show welcomed thousands of professionals

Focused not only on the Greek B2B market, but also to important foreign markets interested in Greek wine, OENOTELIA was once again the most important wine trade show in Greece.

OENOTELIA 2023 attrected thousands of visitors from Organized Retail, Hotels and Mass Catering and was once again recognized as the leading trade event for wine in Greece. With 190 exhibitors, 4,000 sq.m. exhibition area and 160 important wine importers, the professional visitors had the opportunity for three days, to get to know the richness of the Greek vineyards, the wines and spirits of the domestic wine production and to close profitable commercial deals. With Greek producers from all the regional units of Greece, the exhibition covered the majority of the Greek vineyard, while also hosted exhibitors with a huge range of wine and spirits related equipment, bottling machinery, winemaking systems, packaging, wine labels and accessories, as well as a range of products which products related to spirits. Its high quality level and the participation of great names that produce and sign the finest wines and spirits contributed to once again be the most important Wine & Spirits exhibition in Greece.

International interest for the Greek wines

OENOTELIA 2023, utilizing of the excellent quality of Greek wines and the growing interest of the international markets for Greek labels, implemented a dynamic program to attract 160 wine importers from important markets for Greek wine. Buyers held 2,500 b2b meetings with its exhibitors, who had the opportunity, in addition to becoming suppliers of domestic companies, to export Greek wines to international markets. It is worth noting that the buyers included in the hosted buyer program came mainly from countries such as the USA, Germany, China, Canada, etc. which are important for the exports of Greek wines and spirits.

Over 400 labels at the Wine Tasting Area

The visitors of the exhibition also had the opportunity to discover the Greek vineyard, the native varieties and the modern identity of the branded wines from Greece through wine tastings that took place on all three days at the Wine Tasting Area of the exhibition. Specifically, wines from every Greek wine region, from a wide range of varieties and from the entire price range were available for tasting, while visitors were able to obtain useful information about each of the wines being sampled and had the opportunity to compare the organoleptic characteristics of more than 400 labels from all over Greece.
